Seller Policy — Arbsbuy Pakistan

At Arbsbuy Pakistan, sellers are valued partners who help deliver a reliable and trustworthy marketplace experience. This Seller Policy outlines the requirements, responsibilities, and obligations for all sellers operating on the Arbsbuy Pakistan platform.

By registering as a seller or listing products on Arbsbuy Pakistan, you agree to comply with this Seller Policy and all applicable laws and regulations of Pakistan.

1. Seller Eligibility & Registration

To become a seller on Arbsbuy Pakistan, the following requirements must be met:

  • Sellers must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A valid CNIC, Passport, or registered business documentation must be provided.
  • Accurate bank account details, contact information, and identification must be submitted.
  • Sellers must ensure that all submitted information remains accurate and up to date.

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in:

  • Account Suspension
  • Permanent Account Termination
  • Withholding of Payouts if required by law or investigation.

Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to request additional identity verification or supporting documentation from sellers at any time to ensure platform security and regulatory compliance.

2. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers using the Arbsbuy Pakistan marketplace agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate product listings
  • Sell only legal products permitted under Pakistani law
  • Fulfill orders within the specified timeframe
  • Maintain accurate stock availability
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally
  • Ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate
  • Avoid misleading information or deceptive marketing practices

Sellers are fully responsible for the products they list and sell on the platform.

3. Marketplace Scope

Arbsbuy Pakistan operates as an online marketplace platform connecting independent sellers with customers.

Arbsbuy Pakistan:

  • Does not manufacture products
  • Does not own or control seller inventory
  • Does not independently verify the authenticity, legality, safety, or intellectual property compliance of every product listed by sellers

Each seller operates as an independent merchant responsible for their own products, pricing, listings, and compliance.

4. Product Authenticity, Brand Use & Intellectual Property

Sellers must ensure that all listed products:

  • Are genuine and lawful
  • Do not infringe any trademark, copyright, patent, or intellectual property rights
  • Do not falsely claim association with any brand

Selling counterfeit, fake, imitation, or unauthorized branded products is strictly prohibited.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Fake luxury watches
  • Imitation branded fashion items
  • Unauthorized branded electronics
  • Misleading brand names or logos

If a seller lists counterfeit or infringing products:

  • The seller bears full legal responsibility
  • Arbsbuy Pakistan may remove the listing without notice
  • The seller account may be suspended or terminated

Seller Liability & Indemnification

The seller agrees that all legal responsibility related to product authenticity, trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights lies solely with the seller.

Arbsbuy Pakistan acts only as a marketplace intermediary platform and shall not be held responsible for counterfeit or unauthorized products listed by sellers.

Sellers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arbsbuy Pakistan, its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, legal actions, damages, losses, or expenses arising from products listed or sold by the seller, including but not limited to intellectual property infringement, counterfeit goods, product safety issues, or misrepresentation.

If Arbsbuy Pakistan receives any intellectual property complaint, trademark notice, or legal claim related to a seller’s product listing, Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to immediately remove the listing, suspend the seller account, or provide seller information to relevant authorities if required by law.

5. Product Quality & Compliance

All products listed must:

  • Comply with Pakistani safety and consumer protection standards
  • Not pose any risk to public safety
  • Be legally permitted for sale in Pakistan

Prohibited or restricted items may be removed without prior notice.

Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to remove or disable any product listing without prior notice if the product is suspected to violate marketplace policies, intellectual property rights, or applicable laws.

6. Order Fulfillment & Delivery

Sellers are responsible for preparing and dispatching orders in accordance with marketplace standards.

Sellers must:

  • Prepare and dispatch orders within 3–5 business days after order confirmation
  • Ensure products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit
  • Provide accurate product details including weight and packaging requirements
  • Hand over the parcel to the official courier partner assigned by Arbsbuy Pakistan

Arbsbuy Pakistan currently uses Trax Courier Service as its official logistics partner for nationwide deliveries. Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to change courier partners when necessary.

Sellers are not permitted to use external courier services unless written approval is provided by Arbsbuy Pakistan.

Once the parcel has been handed over to the assigned courier partner:

  • Shipment tracking will be managed through the courier’s tracking system.
  • Delivery timelines are subject to courier operations and service availability

Arbsbuy Pakistan shall not be held responsible for delays caused by courier operations, logistics disruptions, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond platform control.

However, sellers remain responsible for ensuring that orders are prepared, packaged, and handed over to the courier within the required dispatch timeframe.

Arbsbuy Pakistan shall not be held liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, courier disruptions, technical failures, strikes, government actions, or other force majeure circumstances.

Failure to dispatch orders within the required timeframe may result in:

  • Order cancellation
  • Seller warnings
  • Penalties or account review

7. Marketplace Communication & Circumvention Policy

Sellers are strictly prohibited from attempting to bypass the Arbsbuy Pakistan marketplace platform.

Sellers must not include any promotional material or contact information inside product packages or shipments intended to communicate directly with customers outside the Arbsbuy platform.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Visiting cards
  • Promotional flyers or brochures
  • Personal phone numbers or WhatsApp numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Social media accounts
  • External website links
  • QR codes directing customers outside the platform

All communication with customers must occur exclusively through the Arbsbuy Pakistan marketplace system.

Any attempt to redirect customers for direct sales outside the platform is considered a violation of marketplace rules.

Violations may result in:

  • Listing removal
  • Seller account warnings
  • Financial penalties
  • Temporary suspension or permanent account termination.

Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any seller attempting to circumvent the marketplace platform.

8. Seller Shipping Policy

Arbsbuy Pakistan provides nationwide shipping through an approved courier partner (Trax).

Sellers must comply with the following shipping rules:

  • Product weight must be entered accurately during listing.
  • Standard shipping rate covers parcels up to 0.5 kg.
  • For products weighing more than 0.5 kg, sellers must include any additional courier costs within the product price, as the standard shipping rate only covers the base courier weight slab.
  • Incorrect shipping class or inaccurate weight information may result in penalties or listing removal.
  • Fragile items must be securely packaged to prevent transit damage.
  • Returns caused by incorrect product information, poor packaging, or seller error may be charged to the seller.

Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to assign the official courier partner. Sellers may not use external courier services without written approval.

By listing products on the platform, sellers agree to comply with these shipping policies.

9. Payments & Commission

Seller payouts are processed after successful delivery confirmation.

Standard payout cycle: up to 15 business days

Commission rates are disclosed during the seller onboarding process.

Deductions may apply for:

  • Refunds
  • Disputes
  • Returned orders
  • Platform fees

10. Seller Code of Conduct

Sellers must maintain professional conduct and agree to:

  • Treat customers respectfully
  • Avoid fake reviews or manipulation
  • Avoid misleading marketing practices
  • Protect customer data and privacy
  • Maintain fair and transparent pricing

Violation of these standards may result in warnings, penalties, or account suspension.

11. Dispute Handling

Customer disputes are handled according to Arbsbuy Pakistan’s Dispute Resolution Policy.

Sellers must:

  • cooperate during dispute investigations
  • provide evidence when requested
  • comply with final dispute decisions issued by Arbsbuy Pakistan.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

Seller accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated for:

  • fraud or misrepresentation
  • counterfeit or illegal products
  • repeated customer complaints
  • policy violations
  • misuse of the platform

Upon termination, sellers must settle any outstanding obligations or disputes.

Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to investigate any seller activity, product listing, transaction, or account behavior to ensure compliance with platform policies and applicable laws.

13. Limitation of Platform Liability

Arbsbuy Pakistan operates solely as a digital marketplace platform connecting buyers and independent sellers.

Arbsbuy Pakistan shall not be liable for:

  • product authenticity disputes
  • intellectual property violations by sellers
  • seller misrepresentation
  • seller fulfillment failures

Arbsbuy Pakistan acts solely as an intermediary marketplace platform and does not assume responsibility for seller conduct, product authenticity, product quality, intellectual property compliance, or order fulfillment performed by independent sellers on the platform.

14. Legal Jurisdiction

This Seller Policy shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan.

Any disputes arising from the use of the Arbsbuy Pakistan platform shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan only.

No other courts or jurisdictions shall have authority over such disputes.

15. Policy Updates

Arbsbuy Pakistan reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this Seller Policy at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.

Continued use of the Arbsbuy Pakistan platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
